Do you just want to show up and paint? An "Open Paint" canvas paint party is a great way to paint with a couple of friends at a fun location! Private parties are great, but someone has to clean and find enough chairs and figure out the food to be served. An "Open Paint" party gives you and your girlfriends the night off! You just walk in, find your spot, get a little food, and start painting! I plan this event and keep the ticket price down. I will plan a wine and cheese tray if we are in a place that doesn't serve food, or order off the menu if we are in a restaurant. Sometimes the restaurants see potential for expanding sales and offer a discount on a return visit or a free drink. Usually, an "Open Paint' party is at a restaurant or coffee shop that has some tables that can be grouped together. Food is available, but not a part of the ticket price. As always, you can paint the sample painting or you can do anything you are inspired to do! I bring all the colors so you can choose what you like. Maybe you like the painting offered, but prefer a totally different color pallet for your home. You can choose what you like! You may know one or two in the class (I use that term lightly! This is a fun activity and less of a class!), but you will be together with other painters from all over the area. It is always nice to get to know people who have just moved to the community. Hearing about other paint studios and experiences are always fun! The pressure is off when you have a just a few friends with you and a room full of strangers who are happily painting with you!
Keep checking the Event Schedule page or Facebook for our "Open Paint" parties. I try to plan one every three months or more, but they can fill up! Gift Certificates can be used at these events! Great gift idea for a quality time gift for Mom and daughter. Buy your ticket to reserve your spot. You can purchase a paintstation at the door, but it is first come first served and limited seating...it is possible you may not get a seat! |
